ELMT 1092 Electromechanical Devices (Special Topics in Electro-Mechanical) 8 hours
1-5 pm Tuesday and Thursday, August 7 and 9 (2 meetings)
An introductory course which explores the operation and function of electromechanical devices such as relays, solenoids, proximity sensors, and electronic interfacing components. Topics include: Magnetism, in-rush and holding current, torque and power, and integration of electromagnetic components in an industrial environment.
